Our most popular and comprehensive test combines both key protocols for assessing endurance performance. First, we perform a lactate profile with gradual load increase, followed by a test to exhaustion to determine VO2max.
VO2max represents the maximum amount of oxygen the body can use during intense exercise. It is the gold standard for measuring aerobic capacity and one of the key indicators of endurance fitness.
Test procedure: The test is performed on a bike or treadmill. Intensity gradually increases to exhaustion (usually 8-12 minutes of active testing).
Lactate testing is the foundation for determining individual training zones. By measuring blood lactate concentration at different intensities, we determine your first and second lactate threshold - key markers for effective training.
Test procedure: We perform 6-10 stepped intervals (4 minutes each) with increasing intensity. After each step, we measure lactate concentration.

Test procedure: Combination of lactate profile and VO2max test at the beginning, then 2-3 hours of steady riding, and repeat testing in fatigued state.
